A Founding Circle

Six is a small, deliberate coalition of six parties who pool cultural and strategic resources around female-led technology ventures in China. Six is built from the inside out — around the founders we believe in, reverse-engineered into a structure that serves them.

Our six seats are not interchangeable. Each seat represents a specific form of leverage — cultural or strategic — that the others cannot replicate. Together, we form something complete.

The moment is Specific

Female tech founders in China face a compounding disadvantage. The structural barriers to capital are well-documented. Less discussed is a subtler layer: the cultural credibility gap — the narrative environment in which a female founder must operate, pitch, and build.

The people with the credibility to reshape cultural narratives, and the people with the capital to reshape funding flows, rarely share a table. They move in different worlds, at different speeds, with different languages.

We believe this moment — defined by a maturing VC ecosystem, a growing class of culturally influential voices, and a generation of technically sophisticated female founders — is the right moment to build this bridge.

Two forms of Capital

Skin in the Game

Six is not a network where membership is free. We have designed it so that every seat carries real commitment — financial, temporal, and relational. This is intentional. Trust scales with stakes.

    Financial Commitment

    Each member makes a one-time contribution (10k ~ 15k CNY) to a shared alliance fund. This is a collective commitment pool that finances our portfolio team's growth, structured through an equity agreement to be formalized under a separate MOU.

    Time & Presence

    Membership means showing up — efficiently. We ask for one 2–3 day strategy workshop per year, dedicated to helping our portfolio team think through their next stage. Beyond that, we engage on an as-needed basis: introductions, media moments, advocacy. We know everyone here operates at the top of their field. Six will never be a heavy temporal commitment. What we value is high-efficiency, high-impact presence — calibrated to what our portfolio team actually needs, not to a fixed schedule.

    Equity in our portfolio company

    As founding members of Six, each seat carries equity participation in our portfolio company. This is not incidental to the structure — it is the point. The people who build the alliance should benefit from what the alliance builds. Equity aligns incentives and converts allies into owners.

    Why equity specifically: We have done the diligence. We believe in the team. Our equity stake is a public declaration of that conviction — and a private alignment of interests.
